Memorial mass at St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church (6303 Nottingham Ave. St. Louis, Mo. (63109) Saturday, October 16, 2021 10:30 am. Inurnment will be held in private. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to: The ALS Association of St. Louis or Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital or Heartland Industries appreciated.
The family is requesting that anyone attending the celebration of life for Ray wear masks at the ceremony and stay home if they are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19. They also request that anyone over the age of 12 (who is vaccine eligible) be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to attend the celebration. Thank you for honoring the family’s requests.

Ann and family, my sincere condolences on the passing of a dear friend I feel I have known all of my life. Ray brought laughter to every occasion and was an all around caring, kind, and helpful person. He will be missed and remembered by all.

It seems like I have known him most of my life and it was always a great time to have him us on any type of occasion. He will be missed but his stories will always be remembered and cherished.
Dear Ann and Family, We are so saddened to learn of the passing of Ray. We did not know him very long but we were struck by his caring and helpful spirit. He volunteered to clean the bar-b-que pits at Lake Wauwanoka beach and offered to do whatever was needed. He was always positive and a valued Lake Wauwanoka neighbor. He will definitely be missed. God bless you abundantly with peace and fond memories during this very difficult time. Our prayers are with you and your family.

Ann and Family, I’m so sorry Ray had to suffer. I remember him from serving meals monthly when St. Gabriel’s team cooked and served monthly dinners at St. Peter and Paul. He was always cheerful and fun while taking on any job that needed to be done. God Bless your Family as God lifts him up!

So sorry Ann. Ray was such an asset to our parish – driving elderly parishioners to doctor appointments, landscaping around the church, always willing to help others.
My deepest sympathies to you and your entire family Ann. Ray was such a wonderful and loving man. We had alot of fun times with him and Gerry Murphy, installing and decorating the Gardenland Express: Holiday Flower and Train Show at the Garden. I will always treasure those moments and think of him with a smile. We were blessed to have him as a volunteer. He will be missed. Thoughts and prayers for all of you.
