Paul Gene Johnston, 93, Went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on July 2, 2021. He was Born April 26, 1928, in Middlebrook, Arkansas.

A beloved minister and pastor of many churches throughout his life. He was known for traveling and evangelizing, singing and preaching. His infectious smile and wit will be missed by all.

He was preceded in death by: parents, Lewis Carter Johnston and Ella Mariah (Davis) Johnston; a brother, Wilburn Lee Johnston; a sister, Bonita Ruth Johnston; wife Mary Francis (Williams) Johnston; and a daughter Connie Sue Johnston.

He is survived by his children: Paula (David) Parkman, Beeville, TX. Ruth (Alfred) Ridley, Victoria, TX. Maurice (the late Freida) Johnston, East St. Louis, ILL. Doris (Steve) Witte, St. Louis, MO. Leila (Larry) Jones, St. Louis, MO. Bruce (Vanessa) Johnston, St. Louis,MO. Calvin Johnston, East St. Louis, ILL. Rose (Carl) Mackey, St. Louis, MO.

He leaves behind an abundance of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, great-great-great grandchildren. He is also survived by a sister-in-law, Velva Johnston, wife of the late Wilburn Lee, cousins, and many nieces and nephews. His legacy will continue to live on for generations.

Services:  Visitation at Living Waters Church 7300 Virginia Ave St. Louis, MO 63111  Friday, July 9, 10 am until Service at 11 am. Concludes at church.  Interment Siloam Cemetery, Middlebrook, Arkansas Saturday, July 10, 12 pm.  Kutis South County Service
