Johnson, Geraldine Frances (Nee DeBold) “Gerry”

Died unexpectedly at Mercy Hospital St. Louis surrounded by members of her immediate family on Saturday, November 2, 2019. She was born on July 6, 1936, in St. Louis Missouri, the daughter of Joseph and Frances “Lucille” (Nee Waterfield) DeBold. Gerry graduated from Cleveland High School, Class of 1954. She had two children Vicki Lynne (1957) and Gary Lee (1959). She loved spending time and spoiling all of her grandchildren and was a huge St. Louis Cardinals Baseball and St. Louis Blues Hockey Fan! She also was a creative and talented Artist and in 2012 she began painting watercolor Pet Portraits. Known for their lifelike features and her attention to detail, Gerry put her heart into each and every painting making them a treasured keepsake for many years to come. Preceded in death by Grandparents Tom & Mary Waterfield; Father Joseph DeBold; Step Father Phillip Krug; Mother Frances “Lucille” (Nee Waterfield) DeBold Krug; Grandson William M. Cain, Jr and Great Grandson Jack Robert Johnson. Survived by her Sister Judy (Nee Krug) (Ron) Condray; Daughter Vicki Lynne Johnson-Cain; Son Gary Lee Johnson and Daughter-In-Law Terri Ann Johnson; Grandsons Brian (Jennifer) and Timothy Johnson; and Great Grandchildren Brody and Harlow.  Our dear aunt, cousin and friend.

SERVICES:  Visitation at KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY Chapel 5255 Lemay Ferry Road on Saturday, November 9, 11am until Service of Remembrance at 1pm.  Services conclude at funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Leukemia and Lymphoma Society or Art From The Heart c/o Friends of Kids With Cancer appreciated.
