Born on September 24, 1966 to Robert A. Nelson & Carol A. Nelson (Sabourin), In Saint Louis, Missouri. She was married to Anthony Jenkins, December 29, 2001, Together they raised a blended family. Their children Angel Smith, Michael Smith, Dillan Smith, Darien Jenkins, La’Kia Griffin and John Smith. These children extended to Cincinnati, Ohio and Evansville, Indiana. Olympia Thomas, Anthony Campbell and Isiah Jenkins.

JoEllen was proceeded in death by Parents, Robert A. Nelson & Carol A. Nelson. Brother, Dwayne A. Nelson and Grandson Dwayne C. Smith.

JoEllen was Survived by her husband Anthony Jenkins. Her 11 children and 5 siblings and grandchildren.

Tyler S. Jenkins, Hannah M. Jenkins and Kamarie J. Smith along with 14 other grandchildren.

Until Sunday January 23, 2022  JoEllen was a loving amazing wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt who’s “little” BIG, shoes will never be able to be filled….JoEllen will be missed and Cherished by so many.

 

Services: Visitation at KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL, 10151 Gravois Road Saturday February 5, 11:00 AM until service at 1:00 PM
