Irene Judith Anielak, 97, of St. Louis, MO, died Saturday, August 17, 2019, at the Degreef Hospice House in St. Louis, MO. She was the beloved wife of Lee Anielak, mother of Dennis Thuernau (deceased), Mark Thuernau (Sheral), Julie Anielak, Susan Mayfield (deceased) Bernard Anielak (deceased), Matt Anielak (Diane). She was preceded in death by her parents John Sr. and Judith Hrivnak and her brother John Hrivnak Jr. She was born July 19, 1922 in St. Louis, MO. She married Lee Anielak on May 16, 1970 and worked as a retail clerk. She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church in St. Louis. She enjoyed traveling, dancing, bowling and loved to win at cards but only with her JUDY rules. Survivors also include grandchildren Dennis Thuernau II, Doug Thuernau, Katy Anielak.
Visitation will be held from 10am until service time 12 noon on Tuesday, August 20, 2019, at Kutis Funeral Home, 10151 Gravois Rd, St. Louis, MO 63123, the funeral service will be officiated by Pastor Wayne Huebner. Internment will be in Our Redeemer Cemetery. A luncheon will then be provided by Salem Lutheran Church, 8343 Gravois Rd., St. Louis, 63123. Memorials may be made to Salem Lutheran Church.
