Howe, Edmund James “Ed”

Went home to our Lord and Savior on Friday, May 27, 2016.

Loving husband of the late Edna Howe.  Dear brother of James Howe;  loving father of Debbie (John) Lazare and Connie (Ed) Hoff;  devoted and proud grandfather of Sarah Lazare, Kyle and Sam Hoff.

Ed served in WWII as 1st Lt. USAF Pilot in the 25th Fighter Squadron 51st Fighter Group.  Returning home he married his sweetheart Edna, and began his career with Nabisco.  After a long and successful career he retired as Director of Plant Operations.

Ed was a member of the Shriners (Salaam and  Moolah Chapters) and the Royal Order of Jesters (Courts 37 and 81) and enjoyed volunteering at the Shriners Hospital for Children.  He belonged to Southminster Presbyterian Church and found great comfort and peace in knowing the Lord.  We will miss and love him forever.

Services: Memorial service will be celebrated at Southminster Presbyterian Church (10126 E. Watson Rd., 63126) on Monday, July 11, 10 a.m.  Interment for Ed and Edna at J.B. National Cemetery immediately following service.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children.
