Our condolences to his family including Polly. He is already missed by many. Jim was a mentor on the golf course and playing with him was always a pleasure. A golf medalist of renown and a gentleman of highest regard. Rest in peace my friend.

Our sympathy to Jim’s family & Polly. Such a talented artist, wonderful teacher & mentor to many. Will always remember you.
According to Jim’s hand-written essay, he first went to Triple A golf course with his father when he was 9. He tells of a tree on Hole #6 that he saved from being cut down by tying a yellow ribbon around himself and the tree trunk. The tree was the last remaining tree from the French Pavilion of the 1904 World’s Fair. I will put his essay on the board at The Highlands Pro Shop. We will miss such a big personality from such a humble spirit. We are lucky to have known him and even luckier to play golf with him.
