   Beloved husband of 70 years to Beatrice Hoffman (nee Whisler); loving father of Karen Hoffman-Morrow; Rick (Joan) Hoffman,  Debra Hoffman and Nancy Nitsch; adoring grandfather of Melody (Michael) Morrow, Matthew  (Jessica) Hoffman and Jennifer (Christopher) Starkey, Grant (MaryEllen) Nitsch and Amelia Nitsch; dearest great grandfather of 5; dear brother of Donald Hoffman, Dolores Hurtle and the late Reese, Lyle, Paul and Jake “Wayne” Hoffman and Carol Stark; dear  uncle, great uncle, cousin and friend to many. Dewey served 4 years in the U.S. Air Force and earned the rank of 1st Sergeant. After his service he was employed by Nibco and worked there his entire career. In his free time he was an avid golfer.

Services: Funeral at KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL, 10151 Gravois Rd., Tuesday, September 12, 11:30 a.m. Interment Sunset  Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Easter Seals or Lutheran Resurrection Church. Visitation Monday, 4-7 p.m.
