Passed away on Monday, May 15th, 2023 peacefully with his family by his side.

Beloved husband of Sharon (nee Samson) Hingle for almost 54 years; devoted father to Kevin (Susan), Craig (Katherine), and Scott (Leslie) Hingle, and Michelle (David) Leist; loving and devoted grandfather to Matthew, Thomas, Jack, Ryan, Emma, Audrey, and Bennett Hingle, and Jared, Jacob, and Nathan Leist; dear brother to Carolyn (Bill) Shaffer, Gale (Kraig) Butts, and Richard Hingle; dear brother-in-law to John (Jeanne) Samson; beloved uncle, cousin, and friend to many. He was preceded in death by twin granddaughters Molly and Emily Hingle.

Ed was born on February 18th, 1946 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Edward and Dorothea (nee Radovich) Hingle. He was a Fourth degree Knight of Columbus Council 5359. Ed had an impact on many kids’ lives through his days coaching. He fulfilled his goal of visiting all 50 states with his wife.

SERVICES: Funeral Mass will be held at Queen of All Saints Catholic Church (6603 Christopher Dr 63129) on Saturday, May 20th at 9:30 am. Interment at Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Kutis Affton Chapel (10151 Gravois Rd 63123) Friday from 4:00-9:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, Masses or donations made to St. John Vianney High School (1311 South Kirkwood Rd 63122) are greatly appreciated.
