Loving husband of Peggy Hillman; loving father of Barbara (Dennis) Harles, Sharon (Steve) Shelton and Susan (Don) Middendorf; loving grandfather of Bret (Lori) Harles, Cynthia (Chris) Kays, Matthew (Misti) Shelton, Erin (Patrick) Losson, Eric Middendorf and Kyle MIddendorf; great-grandfather of Kari, Ryan, Sean, John Howard, Alexander Glen, Claire, Jane, Eve and the late Erik and friend to many.
John was very active at church and loved to play card games with his grandkids and friends and he worked at Bi-State for many years.
Services: Visitation at KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry, on Friday, May 20, 4-8 p.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Zion United Methodist Church appreciated.
Funeral service at Zion United Methodist Church (1603 Union Rd.) on Saturday, 10:30 a.m.
