Smith; survived by her sons Michael Patrick Henley-Hudson and Timothy Mark Henley; grandchildren Sherry Rose Rayno, Vicky Nicole Bernard, Jennifer McLeod, Melissa Anne Fears-Henley, Michelle Kimberly Henley, David Michael Henley and Prism Kahelanna Henley; and 4 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Margaret “Peggy” Malka VonWeber, Mary Ryan and the late Paul Smith.
Out of an abundance of caution and due to the continuing presence of COVID-19, the funeral service can be only viewed on the Kutis Funeral Home Facebook Page https://www.facebook.com/kutissouthcounty/ on Monday, January 17 at 1:30 p.m. There will be NO IN PERSON visitation. All family and friends are invited to attend an in person graveside service Tuesday, January 18, 1:00 p.m. at Resurrection Cemetery (6901 Mackenzie Rd., 63123), social distancing and mask wearing will be practiced. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Knights of Columbus appreciated.
My sister Kay loved to ice and roller skate. In her late teens, she qualified for an invitational to the Silver Skates ice skating competition held at the old Arena off Hwy 40 across the street from Forest Park. She shared her love of skating with her 3 sons as they were growing up.
My beloved Sister Michaela, we were more than SISTERS we were the best of friends, we had our faults like all sisters do but I wouldn’t trade you for any other. I am going to miss our lunches and dinners together and Dr. appts. If anyone ever had a HEART of GOLD it is you, most people have no idea how you helped so many people in your life. Rest In Peace my Beloved Sister
