Hediger, Donald B

Born October 7, 1928 on a farm in Bond County, Illinois with his Mom, Mary and Dad, Ernest.  He was one of eleven siblings.  He passed away February 2, 2020 in St. Louis.  He was 91 years young. Growing up, Don worked on his family’s farm where they raised various animals and harvested many crops. Don later enlisted in the United States Army as a Technician Fourth Grade in 1948. Soon after, he attended Seattle University. Don held positions in many different areas, but spent most of his time working in Real Estate. Don’s interests included spending time with his family, traveling to Arizona, watching all sports (he was a huge Cardinals baseball fan), fishing and staying active by walking daily. Don was a very genuine and loving gentleman who will be greatly missed.

Beloved husband of the late Joyce F Hediger (nee Dau) Loving Father of Kim (Rob) Gaia, Keith (Michelle) Hediger, Kent (Heather) Hediger, and Kristin Halamicek Dear Papa of Kelsey, Kourtney, Lauren, Joshua, Kaitlyn, Morgan, Kyle and Kameron Our Dear Brother, Brother in Law, Uncle, Great Uncle, Cousin and Friend to many.

Don’s celebration of life details: Visitation at Kutis Funeral Home South County, 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd on Sunday, Feb. 9, 4pm-8pm then Monday, Feb. 10, 10am at Martin Luther Evangelical Lutheran Church (Sappington & Kennerly) for visitation until service at 11am, Interment J.B. National Cemetery
