Sharon Ann (nee: Gehbauer) Haubrich passed away of natural causes on December 8, 2022 at her home in Oakville, MO. She was born on 3 June 1943 in Saint Louis, MO; her parents were Clarence Louis Gehbauer and June Laverne Lenharth. Sharon had a 45 year teaching career. She earned her undergradate degree in teaching at Harris Stowe State University, her master’s degree at UMSL, and her EdD degree at BYU.
Sharon is survived by her husband of 43 years, Richard Tutherly Haubrich, Jr, and her two sons, Kyle Jared Haubrich and Richard Tutherly Haubrich, III. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Jordan Lenharth Haubrich, Abigail Lynn Haubrich, Jared Thomas Haubrich, Ella Christine Haubrich, Cali London Haubrich and Sydney Mary Haubrich.
Viewing will be held on December 20, 2022 from 4:00- 5:00pm and followed by a service from 5:00-7:00pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints meetinghouse at 4511 Butler Hill Road. The burial will be at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery at 10:15am on 21 December 2022. All are welcome.

Sharon was among the very best of women. Her strength of character is reflected in that of both her eternal companion and their posterity’s. Her life and work is a totem to Christ. Your wife and mother is a super friend; feeling that I will know her and share experiences in eternity still. Not only did she teach me (or continue to try to teach) any Homemaking Skills that I ever acquired, she helped our children in scouts, and increased our joy in doing work in the temple. .. Until we meet again’, she will be remembered and missed. Prayers for your

Sharon touched so many lives teaching young children. I learned so much from her as she taught reading in the Mehlville Schools. Sharon was always a positive person and always encouraged her students in kind and helpful ways. I’m so blessed that I knew Sharon. God bless her family in this sad time.
