(nee Korte) age 72, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side.

Mary was born December 28, 1943 in St. Louis, MO to Emil Korte and Elizabeth Marstall.  She worked for the FBI from 1966-1999 in the St. Louis Office and at Headquarters in Washington, DC.

Mary is survived by her husband, Jim Hastings, her sister Kathy (Wayne) Enste, brothers Gene  (Diana), Al (Monica), Steve (Felicia), and Paul (Elaine) Korte.  She was preceded in death by her brothers Rich, and Art (Meg) Korte. Mary is also the sister-in-law of Bill Hastings, an aunt, great aunt, cousin, and friend of many.

Her hobbies and interests were quilting, genealogy and spending summers with her husband in their log cabin on Manitoulin Island in  Canada where she volunteered giving interpreted hikes at the local provincial nature reserve park.

Services: A Memorial Mass will be held at Mary Queen of Peace Church, Webster Groves, on May 13 at 11:00 a.m.
