Haselroth, Helen Margaret (nee Kosciulek), age 84, died on Thursday, August 13, following a brief illness. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles, her parents, brothers and sisters, son-in-law Michael and dear friend Connie. She leaves behind a legacy of 5 children, Susan (Michael, deceased), Karen (Gary), Anthony, Jeffrey and Teresa (George), 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, as well as many family members and friends. Mom was self-less and loving and will be missed.
SERVICES: Funeral from Kutis South County Chapel 5255 Lemay Ferry Wed., Aug 19, 10 a.m to St. Matthias Catholic Church for 10:30 Mass. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the deGreeff Hospice House or the American Cancer Society. Visitation Tuesday 4-8 p.m.
If you are uncomfortable attending Mom’s funeral service, we completely understand. However, if you would like to attend, please know a mask must be worn and social distancing guidelines must be followed at the funeral home and Church.
My Dear Aunt Helen, I want to thank you for the many, many memories, that you gave me, as a child, visiting in the summers that we visited, the family, when I was growing up. I will always remember your sweet, soft voice. And even if you were yelling at us, your voice was still sweet. Love you always, your niece María.
I will miss her and our conversations. God bless you all. I will not make it to the services.

I am saddened to hear about Aunt Helen’s passing; although I have only known of her for a few years, I thought it was amazing that she was so insightful and caring for others. May her torch of kindness be carried by her children.

My lovely sweet kind generous Aunt Helen. Oh how I will miss you but will always feel your sweet sprit in my life. Am imagining you meeting your beloved Charlie in heaven and dancing up a storm. A place where there is no sickness or suffering. Love always your niece Mary Ellen from Colorado. Desiree also sends her love. She remembers when you and Charlie came to Colorado and both of your kindness to her won’t be forgotten.
Our mom, Connie, cherished her friendship with Helen. She spoke of Helen frequently and fondly. Both our families were blessed to have such selfless and loving moms. We would like to think that our moms are enjoying each other’s company again. We are so sorry for your loss.

Dear Aunt Helen,
You enjoyed a Life well-lived surrounded always by your many fine successful & caring children. My childhood memories-& there were many with you, Uncle Charlie, and of course, the “kids,” were some of the most pleasant and memorable experiences I ever had growing up.
Please know that to this day, I still have not tasted a better homemade potato salad than yours!
As you enter the “Kingdom,” please give my best wishes to “Uncle Charlie,” “Mom & Dad,” and to my brother Keith. You are all back together now. No COVID, No PAIN, No Worries of any kind. Just Peace. Just Love. Lots & lots of Love.

I’m so sorry to just hear of Helen’s passing. I worked with her in the District Office and always enjoyed the time together. She was a dear sweet person.
