Hacker, Raymond W. “Ray” fortified with the Sacraments of the Roman Catholic Church, on Friday, February 26, 2016.

He was surrounded by his loving family and in the company of Rev. Richard Creason at Missouri Baptist Medical Center.

Beloved son of the late Raymond M. and Margaret S. (nee Baltz) Hacker; most special son-in-law of Verona M. (nee Molitor) and the late Alois C. Hoog; beloved husband and best friend of Lois Marie (nee Hoog) Hacker; devoted father of Edina Kelley (Terry) Moore, Jeffrey Michael, Sarah Marie and the late Raymond Scott Hacker; dearest big brother and father figure of Marilyn Buechel, David Hacker and Kathee (Craig) Behrens; loving grandfather of Matthew (Ashley) Moore, Janna Moore and Anthony (Briana Martin) Moore.  Eagerly awaiting the arrival of great-grandchildren Mia Jane and Gracelyn Adina. Treasured Godfather of Cynthia Behrens and Mark Buechel; admired brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Ray was a U.S. Army veteran who proudly served his country in Korea. He retired from the Nooter Corp. after 35 years of faithful service. The family wishes to thank Missouri  Baptist Medical Center physicians, nurses, palliative care and staff, especially the kind and gifted Dr. Nicholas Kouchoukos who gave Ray the gift of life for an additional 11 years.

Services: Funeral from KUTIS AFFTON Chapel, 10151 Gravois, Tuesday, March 1, 10:15 a.m. to Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church (3519 N. 14th St.) for 11 a.m Mass. Interment J.B. National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciated donations to The Lupus Foundation of America (2000 L St. N.W., Room 210, Washington, DC 20036) or Missouri Baptist Health Care Fund, Attn: Dr. Kouchoukos/Raymond Hacker (3015 N.
