Born May 15, 1934, died May 3, 2021. June entered fully into the presence of the Lord on May 3, 2021. Beloved wife of 64 years to Harold Lloyd Franks; dearest mother of Patricia Taylor and Susan Patrick (Tom); dear sister of Edward Ortleb; dear Oma of Mark Taylor (Tiffany), Mackenzie Patrick (Nick Nouri), Paul Taylor (Jamie), Haley Patrick (Keith Hahn) and Keegan Patrick; aunt and dear friend.
June was an amazing wife and mother. She retired from Southwestern Bell, after 38 years of service. She loved life, her greatest loves were God, family, her German heritage and true friendships. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hope United Church of Christ, 6273 Eichelberger, 63109.
Services: Visitation Thursday, May 6, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. until service time 12:00 Noon at KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL, 10151 Gravois. Private interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.

What a lovely lady, I always enjoyed talking with her at Camp. Ernie and I were sad to hear of her passing. Please accept our sympathy.

Harold and Ed . . . I’m so sorry to hear of Junie’s passing . . . during my childhood Junie and her mother, Tante Anita (my Godmother), were the two kindest and most thoughtful people I remember . . . when my parents visited Junie’s parents, fond memories of warmth and kindness filled the house . . . not to mention the Bettendorf raspberry whip cream cake and Don’s hand-crafted “windies” along with the 78 rpm sounds of Sh-boom and Mr. Sandman . . . and perhaps a reptile or two in Ed’s terrarium . . . Yikes!!! . . . it’s those flashbacks and the people involved that make childhood sooooo special . . . thank you Junie . . . I never forgot you and never will
