Beloved husband of the late Marianne Francis (nee Kuhn); loving father of Bobbie (Mel) Smith, David (Sabrina) Francis, Kenneth Francis, Dianna (Timothy) Hawley and the late Brenda Fry; dear grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, brother-in-law and friend.
Robert retired from the U.S. Army after 21 years of diligent service during the Korean and Vietnam Wars. Later, he was employed as a route salesman for Haas Bakery in Affton and retired from Teamsters Local #688. A member of American Legion Post #101 and long time member of Arcadia Valley Eagles #4238 in Pilot Knob, MO.
Services: Funeral from KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL, 10151 Gravois on Friday, September 23, 9:30 a.m. Interment J.B. Cemetery. Memorials to Disabled American Veterans, appreciated. Visitation Thursday, 4-9 p.m.
