Leisa Finn (59) passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2022, after a heroic battle against cancer. She shared 23 beautiful years with her partner Jennifer Stiff. Daughter of the late Allen and Patricia Finn. Dear sister of Tina Osterwisch and Steve (Denise) Finn. Loving aunt of Billy Osterwisch, Justin (Ali) Sanford, Micaela Finn, and Amy Gronek. Great aunt of Paige, Jenna, and Tylie Gronek, Castiel Burgess, and Jensen and Amara Sanford. Preceded in death by sister Pam Finn, nephew Russell Gronek and great niece Rachel Bradley. She will be loved and missed by countless lifelong friends and neighbors who laughed with her throughout the years.
Her favorite place was Vienna, Missouri, where she spent her time fishing, boating, and appreciating all that nature has to offer. She loved nothing more than to watch a Western and curl up with her many furry children she’s loved over the years. Leisa seems to have embraced the philosophy of Western icon John Wayne—”I have tried to live my life so that my family would love me and my friends respect me. The others can do whatever the hell they please.”
A memorial will be held at Kutis Funeral Home on Friday, May 6 from 4:00-6:00 pm, with a service to follow.

Dear Tina, Steve and Jen,
I was so sorry to hear about Leisa. Although I hadn’t seen her since Fairview, she will always have a special place in my heart. I remember wanting to catch up to her in first grade, calling her name and then tripping on the sidewalk in front of the junior high and ending up with a scrapped up nose. I don’t know how many fire competitions we were in together and won while on girl scout camping trips or how many softball games we played together, but I do remember that during those times there were a lot of laughs and good times.
I was also sorry to hear about your mom, what a double whammy. Like Leisa, I have fond memories of your mom being our Girl Scout leader. Your mom displayed such patience with us and we weren’t always the easiest group to deal with.
I’m sorry I’m not going to be able to make it to the visitation but please know I will be praying for you and your family.
