Warren Wayne Evans passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 10th, 2021, at his home in Fenton, at the age of 73 years. Born September 26, 1947 to Bernell and Bertha Evans in St. Louis, Mo, Wayne served in the US Army during the Vietnam war as a Helicopter Repairman. After serving in the military, Wayne worked for the Department of Agriculture until his retirement in 2002. Wayne celebrated his 53rd wedding anniversary with his wife, Sharon (nee Vernum) on May 18th. Wayne loved golf, Country Western Dancing, old cars, bowling, baseball, fishing and being outside. Wayne was a member of the Gateway Thunderbird Club and Midwest Club Dance. Wayne is preceded in death by his parents, his son-in-law, John Larson, and numerous Aunts and Uncles. In addition to his wife, Sharon, he is survived by three children; Dawn Evans, Joyce Larson-Francis (husband Steve Francis), and Adam Evans (fiancee Kelly Hagerty); four grandchildren, Benjamin Pilger, Amanda Pilger, Hayley Larson and Emma Hagerty; and one great granddaughter, Hayley Pilger. 

Funeral from Kutis South County Chapel 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd. Tuesday June 15, 12:00 noon. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Memorial donations to Heartland Hospice, 12101 Woodcrest Executive Drive, St. Louis, MO 63141, appreciated. Visitation Monday 4-8 pm.
