Douglas William Ebmeyer, son of Donald and LaVerne Anita née Rathert Ebmeyer, was born November 6, 1966, in St. Louis, Missouri. He was baptized in infancy at St. John’s Lutheran, Morganford, where he attended its parochial school and confirmed his faith in May, 1980. In 1984, he graduated from Lutheran High School South. He later attended Rankin Technical Institute to receive tool and die certification.
On May 3, 1997, he married Pamela Judith Waters with whom he enjoyed 24 years in the nuptial estate. To this union were born Kari Pamela, Kyle Douglas, and Keli Judith Ebmeyer who, with their mother, survive his passing. Also surviving are his mother LaVerne George, his father-in-law Orville “Butch” Waters, his brother Gregory (Lois) Ebmeyer, his sister Cherryl (James) Lehmkuhl, his brother– and sister-in-law Mark (Susan) Waters, his aunt Eileen Wehrheim, together with nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Doug will be remembered as a compassionate and loving husband and father who especially spent time with his family at a lake home where he enjoyed boating and (earlier) water skiing.
Doug worked as a tool and die maker at General Metal Products located on Delor near Grand Avenue since 2010, and where he remained until his passing.
Except for diabetes and cholesterol issues, he experienced generally good health until an industrial accident which occurred Wednesday, November 24.
On Monday, November 29, 2021, having worked earlier that day, he returned home and continued to experience a waning of his condition. Sadly, he unexpectedly and suddenly passed away, possibly from his injuries, at about 10:35p.m. He attained the age of 55 years and 23 days.
SERVICES: Visitation at Peace Lutheran Church, 737 Barracksview 63125, on Tuesday, December 7 from 9:30 am until funeral service at 10:30 am. Interment Bethlehem Cemetery.

God Bless you Doug,
Sincerely Rick and Jo Ann Kargus
La Verne, I have no words of comfort to give you. There aren’t any words that could do that. My heart aches for you and your family during this time of deep sorrow. I continue holding you up in prayer.
Pam, I talked to Ann Theiss yesterday and just found out about Doug. So sorry for your and the family’s loss. I had called Ann to tell her that I lost Jim on 1/12. I didn’t have a contact for you so hope this finds you.
