Easter, Sharon L. (nee Waller)  age, 79 of Arnold, MO entered into rest on Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2021. She bravely faced, fought, and accepted a grim diagnosis on Thanksgiving morning of an inoperable glioblastoma stage 4 in her brain.  Our family owes a debt of gratitude to the loving, caring, and compassionate staff at Mercy South Hospice House for their deep commitment to their patients’ comfort in their final days.

Sharon was the beloved wife of Bernard (Bernie) Easter (deceased 2008); dearly loved mother of Rebecca L (nee Easter) Goold and John C Easter; dear mother-in-law of Andrew Goold and much-loved Granny of Justin Scott and Emily (nee Stachurski) Franz and Sonia Mignon Franz. Sharon was the first of two children born to Emma (nee Vallo) and John Waller (both deceased); and dear sister of Michael and Kathleen (nee Banker) Waller of Chicago. She was much loved Aunt Sherry to Michael and Kathleen’s children: Eric, Kristy, Kelly & Katie in addition to their respective spouses and children.

She was also a much-cherished cousin, friend, and former co-worker to all who knew her. Sharon retired from Nestle Purina after 33 years of service; was active for many years in PSI/IAAP; Midwest Club Dance; Garden Club; a Flash Mob group and most passionately involved with the South St. Louis Marine Corps League Auxiliary, of which she served 2 terms as MCLA President.
