Duffie, Frank Woodrow “Woody”, passed away on May 6, 2022.
Beloved husband of Becky Duffie (nee Dierkes); loving father of Jennifer (Tim) Fanara; dearest son of the late James and Louise Duffie; dear brother of Lee (Renee) Duffie, Steven (Joan) Duffie, Kim (Jill) Duffie and the late James Duffie and Tom (Bobbi survives) Duffie; our dear uncle, great-uncle, brother-in-law and friend to many.
Services: Visitation at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, on Thrusday, May 12, 10:30 am until service at 11:30 am. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Memorials to the American Heart Association or Humane Society of Missouri, appreciated

It took nearly 20 years to realize “Uncle” Woody was really my really upbeat, fun-loving, always welcoming mom’s cousin’s husband, but he treated us all like one of his own.
There are few people who connect with others and make them feel welcome, loved and important. Woody was one of those amazing souls. My heart goes out to Becky (my mom’s cousin) and Jennifer and her husband Tim … and everyone else who lost their friend. He will be sorely missed but always remembered.
Becky, please accept my condolences. Woody was simply one of the nicest guys you can meet in life. His sense of humor is something I’ll never forget. I first met Woody on the Blackburn Park ball field; he was a great ball player, but an even better person.

I am a radiologist at Mercy STL and worked with Woody for many years. It was a pleasure to deal with him because he was always cheerful and talkative. I remember we often talked and laughed about home construction projects that my husband was doing.
I feel lucky to have known him.
