I so miss my beloved brother, yet my heart is eased by the assurance of God.
Ray was a great friend and coworker. He had motivated me in numerous ways that was an inspiration and greatly appreciated. As God’s will, we are all here on loan from God, to help one another, nurture one another, and care for one another, but one day, he will, call us all back. Rest in peace Ray.
I started working with Ray at the Maplewood Fire Department in the mid 70’s and then again at West County Fire & EMS from the early 80’s until his retirement in 2011. Ray was a great friend and dedicated firefighter / medic.

Ray Doria you are missed! We enjoyed the outdoors together fished, hunted, enjoyed sport shooting, worked together, fought fires, rescued folks on the ambulance, we had lots of good memories! I miss you Ray! Rest in peace! See you on the other side!
I’d only known Ray for a couple years, but he became very special to me. We enjoyed a lot of things together. From watching complete TV series to enjoying a dinner out or setting at home having a glass of wine. He was a great man and I’ll miss him a lot but I know he is now in the arms of Jesus and is no longer suffering.
Ray, I always enjoyed our conversations at the firehouse! Your sense of humor was never ending. May you rest peacefully in Gods hands brother.

To the Doria all of you have my deepest heart felt condolences. As I read Ray’s obituary, he came to life to because I felt and am similarly a son and brother like he was. I know how much he cared for his family and how that meant so much to him. Judy, you have my deepest condolences. Fred Vogel
