Alice “Lee” Dexter (nee Mendoza) age 89, passed away Thursday, May 5, 2016.

Cherished mother of Cheryl Barbero, Karen Stobie and Susie Stayton (George Lombardo). Alice is preceded in death by her granddaughter Tia Stayton, parents Lillian Brumer and Paul Mendoza, sister Pauline Gregorcyck, and three brothers Clarence, Leonard, and Johnny Mendoza. Alice is survived by her siblings Juanita Kardell (Charlie Kahmke), Lucy (Dave) Riley, Russell (Fran) Mendoza, David (Sharon) Brumer, and Rick (Loraine) Brumer.

Beloved grandmother to Adrienne Barbero (Dan) Steffen, Amy (Tony) Townley, Valerie (Dan) Lamping, Carolyn Barbero, Christopher (Rhonda) Barbero, Dawn Oppy (Mark Budenholzer), Megan Stobie, and Kelsey Stayton (James Johnson). Great-grandmother of 12, aunt, great-aunt, cousin and friend to many. Alice loved her family, life and her Mexican heritage. She will be greatly missed by many.

Visitation: KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL, 10151 Gravois Rd., Monday, May 9th 4-8 p.m. with a service beginning at 7:00 p.m. Monday evening in the Chapel.
