Baptized into the hope of Christ’s resurrection, Paul P. DeRousse III passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 8, 2022. Proud father of Paul P. DeRousse IV, beloved son of Ann (Stephen) Loux and the late Paul P. DeRousse II, loving brother of Laurie (Chad) Reinwald, and uncle-to-be; dear nephew, cousin and friend to many. Paul was born October 5, 1981 in St. Louis, Missouri. It was in his senior year at South Technical High School that he developed his love for working with his hands. Paul followed in his father’s footsteps after graduation and went on to become a longtime member of IUOE Local 513 as a heavy equipment operator. In 2010, he pursued his dream of starting his own business and worked as a talented mechanic, welder and fabricator. Paul was a loyal friend and selfless soul, always putting the needs of others before his own. He loved with his whole heart, even when others weren’t deserving. He had a sarcastic wit and was honest to a fault. He took great pride in being a man of his word and always staying true to his principles. Despite the challenges life threw his way, Paul persevered in the face of adversity. His sudden passing has been a devastating loss; he will be missed beyond words. We love you Paul.
