Jim passed away peacefully on October 7th, 2020, surrounded by loved ones.
Jim was a beloved husband of Kelley DePauw; dear step dad to Steven and Jessi Wilken, Andrew and Sara Wilken and Jessica Bateman; the proudest Papa to Zachary, Carson, Madilyn and Rowan, He was also a beloved brother to Steve DePauw (late Judy DePauw) and John DePauw (Sandy), dear uncle, brother in law and friend.

Throughout his life he carried a servant’s heart starting with his service in the Marine Corps. Jim fulfilled his life long calling when he became a Chaplain with Lutheran Senior Services. He loved to help others especially in their times of need. Jim was always a proud servant of God and is loved by many.

In lieu of flowers, Jim and Kelley wish for donations to Annie’s Hope (annieshope.org). Their mission is to provide comprehensive support services for children, teens, and their families who are grieving a death. Or donations to cancersupportstl.com are appreciated.

Visitation at Kutis Affton Chapel, 10151 Gravois, on Monday, October 12, 4-8:00 PM and at Faith Lutheran Church, 6101 Telegraph Rd. 63129 on Tuesday, October 13, 9:30 AM until service at 10:30 AM. Interment J.B. National Cemetery.
