We are heartbroken to announce the death of our beloved Diana Jean Daniels (nee Schuttner). Diana passed on November 30, 2022. She was 76 years old.

Diana was born in St. Louis in 1946 to Howard and Juanita (nee Clermont) Schuttner. Loving wife of James Daniels for 58 years; beloved mother of Jim (Terry), Scott, Elizabeth, and Nicole; Grammy to Samantha, Kaleb, and Joshua; sister of Raymond (Debbie) and Sheri (Bob); and dear sister-in-law, aunt, cousin, and friend to many.

A graduate of Bayless High School, Diana married her high school sweetheart James (Jim) Daniels; they shared 58 years together. Together they moved from St. Louis to Jefferson County, where they resided for over 50 years. Diana worked for many years as a Loan Processor until her retirement.

Diana was a generous host of family gatherings and the organizer of endless adventures with her beloved husband. Together they traveled far and wide, enjoying water sports such as boating and water skiing at the Lake of the Ozarks, canoeing, and scuba diving in the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean. In retirement they began RVing and motorcycling, crossing the country from Maine to Texas. Diana will be remembered for her gift of gab and her chuckle, and could regularly be found tending to her gardens, after her cup of coffee, of course.
