Cordy Ray Crain (Cox) 77 years old of St Louis Missouri passed peacefully in her sleep on October 28, 2018 after suffering several years from Alzheimer’s disease.

She is predeceased, only months, by her loving husband of 35 years; Arthur Crain. Cordy is also preceded in death by siblings Terry, Jerry and Damon Gardner along with parents Alvan and Anna.

Cordy is survived by her three children Diane, Nancy and Steve(Harold), siblings Connie, Kelsey and Dronda. She was also blessed with eight grandchildren along with many other family and friends.

Cordy was known for her quick wit and jovial temperament making everyone’s cheeks hurt from laughing when around her. Daring and outgoing she enjoyed skydiving and had many jobs in Missouri and Illinois to include Augustine’s Restaurant in Belleville, where she called home and met her husband. Carter Carburetor was where her jokes were most appreciated and finally General Motors Corporation in Wentzville where she was chosen ‘cream of the crop’ and, as such, was sent to open Saturn in Springhill, Tennessee. After retiring from there, she returned to St Louis to live out her life with Art at Sunset Hills Rehabilitation Center.

She will be missed but never forgotten.

Services:  Visitation will be on Sunday November 4 from 4-8 pm at Kutis Funeral Home at 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd. Services held on Monday at 1 pm followed by burial at Jefferson Barracks.
