Baptized into the hope of Christ’s Resurrection On Saturday, April 2, 2022. Beloved husband of Gayle Coppage (nee Amberson) loving father of Anne-Marie (Timothy) Rohrbacker and Elizabeth Coppage; cherished grandpa of Jason and Josephine Rohrbacker, Jody and Carter Coppage; son of the late Ann and Joseph Coppage; brother of Patty (Wally) Sieges and the late Terry (Survived by Debby Coppage-Fleming) Coppage, brother-in-law of Sam (Brenda) Amberson , Virginia (John) Schroeder and the late Elizabeth King; beloved son-in-law of the late Oma Amberson; our dear uncle-great-uncle, cousin and friend to many and of course the best dog dad ever to Parker.

Mr. Coppage served his Country in the U.S. Air Force as an Avionics Grd Equipment Specialist in Laredo, Texas where he fell in love with his beloved wife Gayle. They were married almost 52 years. Mr. Coppage was Ordained as a Deacon January 31, 1987,  proudly serving the St Louis Diocese. He was a beloved Deacon serving many parishioners; baptizing many children and officiated many Wedding, funerals and ministering to the sick and poor until his retirement from the Deaconate. Michael enjoyed trains, ancestry and was a member of find a grave; bringing life stories back to those searching for loved one’s and friends. THE FAMILY WOULD LIKE TO SEND A HEART FELT THANK YOU TO THE STAFF AT FRESINIUS DIALYSIS CENTER SOUTHTOWNE  AND THE MERCY SOUTH ICU STAFF for the love and care he received from them.

Interment at a later date at J.B. National Cemetery with full Military Honors. In lieu of flowers donations to a charity of your choice appreciated.
