Pat I just seen the news. Just want to express my deepest sympathy. I only knew Rod for couple days, but I enjoyed the time with both of you. God bless you hold you in His loving arms.

Roddy was loved by all his family and friends. Especially his brothers Mike, Tim, and sister Debbie and daughter Kara. You all have my deepest sympathy. When I heard the news I was overcome with emotion with tears running down my face. I have known Roddy and his family for 53 years. We were neighbors, Roddy and I played football in high school together, we worked the pipe welding trade on several large Industrial jobs in Alabama and Pensacola. We went to many concerts, football games, football parties, Atlanta Falcon football games, Super Bowl parties, Weddings, funerals, 20+ trips to Pensacola with friends and brothers Deep Sea Fishing, going to bars and festivals to listen to live music. The friendship and good times were too many to count. Roddy will me missed by all that new him. I truly love you and will miss you Brother.
Roddy I will remember all the fun times and wonderful conversations we have had. You always understood what I was going through at work and would always be able to give me insight to these issues. I loved your saying “and you know the whole nine yards”!!! Every time I hear you say it I smile. You were a wonderful fishing teacher and I loved catching the big one!! The boys learned their love of fishing from you! We will miss you and cherish every memory!!! Love you brother!!
Pat, You have my deepest sympathy and love. I know everything happened so fast and it will take time to recover. I only met him once but I could tell he had a great personality and was fun to be with. I also send sympathy to his daughter and siblings.

Dear Pat…I grieve with you at this time of unexpected shock and sadness. I wish I could have put my arms around you through the phone when you called me. I am glad you had the years you did with Rod. I’m here for you day or night whenever you need to reach out. You have been like a sister to me for many years and we have shared much history of our lives. I wish I could have spared you of this. I love you and will do what I can to help you through the time ahead.

I am the lady Roddy brought to Ga. From Md. This was 44 years ago. I never intended on staying here after we broke up but 1 thing led to another. I got married after to another. Had 2 lovely daughters that are grown with their own children. I still miss MD and visit my old friends that were Roddy’s as well. My kids gave me a “Story worth to write this Year. A tecointingofyour life. One of the questions was “what was your first big tripsof your life” and I told about Roddy and my road trip camping inyDatsin pickup in 1975 through out the South. After I finished it was 1 weekylater that Roddy died. . I didn’t think it would affect me but it did .He was my first true love.we were together for 6 years between Md and Ga. I justrecountedtheoterdays all tjee concerts I saw with him including Roy Clark st Merrypost weather pavilion in Columbia MD.with Mom Liz, a lovely lady and Frank Jarusek his stepdad inl..We had a dream of having a little farm and had bought some property in Taylorsville Ga together for that 5acresI am very happyily married to a great guy. Greg Mabry , settled in the woods in North GA .We had a Great and meaningful relatnship Roddy and I but just yoing. I encourage rod to go to welding school in Baltimore His friends and family were mine. And they were and are wonderful people I know God is taking good care of him. Rest in Peace Roddy.
