Beloved daughter of the late Anthony and Mary Castaldi; loving sister of Patricia (the late Obert) Cotham, Anthony “Tony” Castaldi, Christine (the late John) Volker, Concetta (William) Risk, Deborah (the late Dale) Kaikkonen, and Linda Castaldi; our dear sister-in-law, aunt, great-aunt, and friend to many. She was preceded in death by her brothers, John, Donald, and Joseph Castaldi, and her sisters, Arlene and Gloria Castaldi. Mary was a civil servant of the City of St. Louis for 48 years.
SERVICES: Funeral from Kutis Affton Chapel (10151 Gravois Rd), Thursday, May 25th 9:15 am to St. Francis de Sales (2653 Ohio Ave) for 10 am Mass. Interment at Mt. Hope Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday 3:00-8:00 pm.
I am so very sorry to hear of the loss of Mary. I have a lot of fun memories of Mary when were all in high school together.

Mary was the best! She helped me tremendously over the years with my benefits, my retirement and so many other things! She was moved and will be missed by many! Prayers and hugs!

To the family of Mary Castald. I send you all my deepest sympathy for the loss of your beloved Mary. I’m a friend of Mary’s from work at the City of St. Louis. I’ve known her for about 20 years. She is a very pleasant and soft spoken young lady whom I was so pleased to have the pleasure of knowing. She helped me to understand many things about my health. Mary, I will miss her dearly.

I was so surprised and sorry to hear of the loss of Mary. My sincere condolences to her family and friends. I am a longtime employee with the City of St. Louis and Mary was invaluable when I had questions and needed help with insurance benefits. She was always pleasant to talk with and so willing to help and share her knowledge of the benefit system.
It’s so sad that she didn’t get time to enjoy a long and well deserved retirement. She is in my prayers. May she rest in peace.
