Private graveside service will be held at a later date. A Kutis South County service.
You are held close to my heart with love dear Jackie. You who’s smile lights our hearts. With Jesus rest well the best has just begun. You will be missed by many. You gave so much to help keep our family history story alive✨ in love and prayers for all left behind. Sylvia Platts

Jacqueline came into my life only 25 years ago. Being her distant cousins, my family traveled to St Louis to learn about our family history. Jackie helped and helped, driving us to the home-place in Illinois, introducing us to family members, giving us stories and information we didn’t even know to ask about. – Then, Jackie came to California with Carol and Diane. We had a good time. She helped me understand the shape of our shared ancestry. Always humble, gentle, thoughtful. Always a trooper. Jackie will always be in my history book as one who went out of her way to help me understand my place in the Pyle family. Thanks to Jackie, I know the importance to my family of my Pyle roots. She made a real difference in my life.
Memories of my little cousin Jackie:
I was 2 and a half years older than Jackie. Uncle Ellsworth and my Auntie Winnie rented the 2 front rooms at my mother’s house on Kensington Ave in St. Louis. When Jackie was old enough for kindergarten at Clarks School I was responsible for taking her and picking her up. One day I almost home and I realized “I FORGOT JACKIE” and I ran back to school as fast as I could. I didn’t want her to cry and she wasn’t, she was alright. I can picture her now waiting for me. When Jackie’s father would be coming home, I had Jackie waiting at the top of the stairs ready to greet him and he would pick her up and say “My Angel”, I remember thinking “She’s no angel, she doesn’t have wings”, I was jealous because I didn’t have a Father. There are other memories, picture 2 little girls. I spent a lot of time with Jackie when we were taking care of my Aunt Lea. I remember one day it came up about her son who drowned when he was a little boy, I could feel her heart break, we both had tears in our eyes and NOW JACKIE IS IN HEAVEN WITH HER LITTLE BOY.
