After 10 years, David Frank Calloni lost his life to Alzheimers.

Beloved father of Mary Ann (Chris) Von Feldt and David Paul (Natalia). Dearest brother of Carol Riehemann, Joe (Ruth Ann), Bob (Peggy), Ben (Debbie). Cherished PaPa of Dominic, Eric, and Patric Von Feldt. Son of the late Joseph and Esther (nee, Scharlott) Calloni. Treasured friend of Paula Rodgers. Adored uncle to many nieces and nephews.

David spent most of his life on “The Hill” and was raised Catholic.  Many years ago he worked for Missouri Bakery. He loved to feed everyone by baking, barbequing, and cooking. David loved to be outdoors.   David spent many weekends visiting Ray Knoll.  He worked on Ray’s farm and became a member of his church, the St. James UCC in Cape Girardeau.  For forty years David worked for KV Pharmaceutical.  He frequented the Hampton Denny’s restaurant where he drank his daily coffee.  David was a Viet Nam Veteran. Prior to becoming ill, he was very active in the Shrewsbury American Legion Post 111. David’s last days were spent at the Missouri Veterans home – St. Louis.  Words cannot describe David, for he was a man of few words, immense integrity, true  friendship, and unconditional love.
