Our amazing husband, dad and papa to all who knew him well, William Eugene Butler, 90, passed suddenly Sunday, January 15, 2023. He leaves his wife of 68 years, Veronica (Keen) Butler, his daughter, Sharon (Butler) Beckmann and her husband Robert Beckmann; his son Rick Butler and his companion, Christina Norton; his son, Michael Butler and his fiancé, Jessica Kramer; his daughter-in-laws Jackie Tribout and Karen Butler; his grandchildren, Christopher Butler, Ashleigh (Beckmann) Darnell, Ryan Butler, Zachary Beckmann, Geoffrey Butler, Matthew Butler, Alison Kinnard, Kellie Reiter and Lauren Pudlowski; and 12 great grandchildren; 6 brother and sister in-laws; and many nieces and nephews and close friends.

He is preceded in death by his brother Robert Butler and his wife Donna Butler; his brother Richard Butler and his wife Christine Butler; and his sister Doris Alcorn; and daughter in-law Sandy Butler.

Bill was born in Flat River, MO and later a lifelong resident of St Louis. He worked as a supervisor/foreman for Carter Carburetor and Allied Healthcare.

He met his wife, Veronica Keen, and married in 1954.  He was passionate about his family, friends  and church family at Calvary Baptist Church in Fenton, MO.  Bill loved winters fishing in Florida and summers at his shared family lake home.

Services; Visitation will be held at Kutis South County Chapel (5255 Lemay Ferry) on Friday 1/20 from 4PM until service at 7PM. Flowers can be ordered through family friends at Leschers Florist or charitable donations to Head for the Cure in care of our beloved Sandy Butler.
