With immense sorrow, we announce the passing of Glen Bruder, an extraordinary man who will be remembered for his caring and fairness. He was truly one of a kind. Glen passed away peacefully on May 5th, 2023, surrounded by his adoring family, after a courageous battle with illnesses. Born on July 4th, 1933, in Saint Louis, Glen’s life was a shining example of love, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to those he held dear.

Glen’s one-of-a-kind personality left a lasting impression on everyone he encountered. His ability to empathize and his impartiality endeared him to all, while his laughter and positivity brightened every room he entered. Glen’s generosity of spirit and genuine care for others made the world a better place.

As a devoted husband to Patsy Bruder for over 65 years, their love story served as an inspiration to all who knew them. Together, they created a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and treasured memories. Glen’s steadfast love and unwavering support will forever be remembered by Patsy and those who witnessed their incredible bond.

He was a proud father to Terry Alsup, a grandfather to Megan Alsup, Sean and Marggie Alsup, and great grandfather to Brayden Alsup, Kendall Alsup, and Estella Alsup. Glen’s heart swelled with pride and joy at every milestone and achievement. His love, encouragement, and the special bond he shared with his son and grandchildren will be cherished and celebrated throughout their lives.

In his passing, Glen leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and fairness that will continue to resonate with those who were fortunate enough to know him. May his memory be a source of comfort and inspiration as we celebrate the life of a truly remarkable man.

SERVICES: Funeral will be held at Kutis Affton Chapel (10151 Gravois Rd. 63123) on Tuesday, May 9th at 11:00 am. Interment at Mount Hope Cemetery. Visitation on Monday from 2:30 pm – 8:00 pm.
