 Melva Louise Bradley nee Schmidt:

Melva, age 84, of St Louis County passed away on May 9, 2022 at Dolan Memory Care in St. Louis, MO. She would want us to remember her laugh, that she was a gracious hostess, loved her church and community at St. Lukes UCC Imperial, had a green thumb, was an excellent card player, golfer and dancer. She was an adventurous world traveler, intelligent and college-educated, courageous and strong. Born October 6th 1937, raised in Barnhart, the daughter of the late Vernon Schmidt and Maryanne Gray Bridges. Loving wife of William Bradley; dedicated mother of Ann (Juan) Camarillo and Beth (Steve) Ryals; devoted grandmother of Katherine, John, Michael and Rachel; dear stepmother of Timothy (Laurie), Joseph (Andrea) and John (Denise) Bradley, Maureen (Earl) Gates, Michael (Ann) and Daniel (Kim) Bradley; dear step grandmother, beloved sister of Florine (Ronald) White and David Schmidt, sister-in-law, aunt, cousin and friend to many. You are gone but thank you for all these soft, sweet things you have left behind in my home, in my head, in my heart. Services: Visitation at Kutis South County (5255 Lemay Ferry) on Wednesday, May 11, from 4-8p.m. This Thursday May 12th at St. Luke’s UCC (6610 St. Luke’s Church Dr., Imperial, MO 63052) visitation will be held from 9-10am and Funeral service will follow at 10 a.m. Interment immediately following at Burgess Cemetery behind the church. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Luke’s UCC 6610 St. Luke’s Church Dr., Imperial, MO 63052 would be appreciated.
