CLAUDE LUDWIG BOUL, JR

Claude Ludwig Boul, Jr. passed away peacefully at his home in St. Louis, Missouri on Monday, January 2nd, 2023, at the age of 91. Claude was born in Sedalia, Missouri on August 9, 1931, to Claude and Kathryn (Kuckelman) Boul. Claude grew up in Sedalia with his 5 siblings and attended Sacred Heart High School. He graduated from St. Joseph’s College in Collegeville, Indiana and honorably served in the U.S. Army in Korea during the Korean War.  Claude and his wife Rita celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary on December 26, 2022.

He is survived by his wife Rita (Henzler) Boul, daughter Ann Boul, and his siblings Regina Moellenbeck, John Boul, and Harry (Geraldine) Boul. Claude is predeceased by his sister Jane Wilhelmy and brother Firmin Boul.

Claude was an accomplished pianist with a lifelong love for music. He served as organist for St. Francis of Assisi Church in Oakville, Missouri. Above all, Claude’s greatest love was his family.

Visitation at St. Francis of Assisi Church Tuesday January 17, 9:00 am until Mass at 10:00am. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions to St. Louis ARC appreciated.
