Asleep in Jesus, June 18, 2021 at age 93.

Beloved wife of the late Fred L. Bodimer Jr. for 60 years; loving mother of Yvonne  (the late Dennis) Delf, Darlene Bodimer, Kathy (John) Keisker and Fred III (Marie Dilg); loving grandmother of Adam and Benjamin (Jennifer) Delf, Shane and Noah Bodimer, and Jessica Keisker; dear great grandmother of Katherine, Abigail and Jack Delf, Lia Pineda and Elijah Collier; our dear mother-in-law, sister-in-law, aunt, great-aunt, and friend. She was preceded in death by her four brothers: Glenn, Mason, Gilbert, Albert and her half-brother Billy.

Marie was a devoted member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in south St. Louis from her birth in 1928 till its closing in 2010. She served as Sunday School secretary for years, and was an active member of the Voters Assembly and The Ladies Aid Society where she chaired the Spring and Fall Rummage Sales for decades. Marie then continued her Christian faith at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in south St. Louis from 2011 till her death.

Marie also loved her time volunteering at Lutheran Hospital in the Gift Shop and at the Lutheran Hospital Auxiliary Re-Sell It store on Cherokee Street.  She also enjoyed helping organize the Winnebago Improvement Association.

Marie was an avid fan of the Royal Family, Bob Gibson, Muhammad Ali and KMOX Radio. She loved her God, her country and her family. And we all love her and will miss her greatly.
