Survived by her husband Robert “Bob” Arrowood for 53 years and her brother Paul Bock. Dr. Bock was a graduate of Kansas State University School of Veterinary Medicine and started practicing in the South County Area of St. Louis in 1968 until present.
Services: Funeral at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, on Friday, February 10, 10:00 am. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Open Door Animal Sanctuary or Stray Rescue, appreciated. Visitation Thursday, 5:00 to 7:00 pm.

Please accept our condolences for the loss of your wife and sister. Dr. Bock will be missed far more than anyone can expect. She had a big heart for animals and we appreciated the care she provided to both our cat Conan and especially our puppy dog Jack. I know she loved every animal that walked into her office. We appreciated her and what she did for Jack. Thank you for sharing her with all her animal clients the way you did. You both, as well as Dr. Bock are in our thoughts and hearts forever.

I admired her, cherished her friendship, her astuste and curious mind and her dedication, passion and perseverance in her work. She was a great Baseball friend also. Our sincere condolences for the passing of Dr Bock. She was a special lady who took very good care of several of our dogs. We loved to talk bike riding adventurers with her. She was so dedicated to her calling. She will be missed.

Dr. Bock was such a wonderful and sweet woman and Veterinarian! She started treating my cat Dickens in 1987 until he passed on 2001, then she took very good care of my cat Lacey since 2009.
She was a wonderful friend and I will truly miss her!❤️
My deepest sympathy to the Southwick and Bock families. I am shocked and saddened to learn of Dr. Bock’s passing. She cared for my precious Airedales and Scotties for nearly 40 years. We will truly miss our trusted friend and loving caregiver.

Please accept my condolences in the passing of Dr. Bock. She treated my very first cat when I moved to St Louis in 1976 and cared for every pet I have had for the past 47 years. She will most certainly be missed by me and many, many others who have had the pleasure to know her and be her friend. Words cannot adequately express my sorrow.
We are deeply grieved to hear about Dr Bock’s sudden passing. Our deepest sincere condolences for her husband and her Southwick family. Our beloved Fur Babies (our late Izzy, our late Curley Sue, and currently our Toby &LuLu) have received her excellent loving care for over 30 years. She will be deeply missed.

We are so sad to hear of Dr Bock’s passing. She was a wonderful veterinarian to five of our dogs and her warmth and understanding made her a friend to us. She will be greatly missed.

I can not believe Dr. Bock is gone.
I can’t imagine going to any other veterinarian. I hope the clinic can remain open and someone as knowledgeable as Evelyn will take over. It is very big shoes to fill.
Don and I will miss our visits with Dr Bock who has been keeping our old cat Lulu in such good health as well as Barney and Phoebe.
So many years, so many fur babies in Dr. Bock’s care. I just saw her last Wednesday afternoon. Such a shock. She will be missed.
My deepest condolences to Dr. Bock’s family. She was wonderful, kind, and compassionate with the treatment of my old dog. I feel a little lost now as there isn’t anyone who knows him like she did. She felt like family and is missed.
I met Dr. Bock at The Humane Society of Missouri when we both started working there in 1968. She was an excellent veterinarian, and a wonderful person.

She was a very loving veterinarian to all animals. She took care over the years of five of our cats since the early 80’s. She will be greatly missed.

We arrived in St. Louis in 74 and by sheer luck found a place very close to Dr. Bock’s first location next to Central Hardware. It was apparent early on she had a dedication to the animals that came under her care. For close to 50 years she gained out trust and respect for looking after our 6 dogs and 5 cats. There were many ups and downs along the way, and she always came through for us. We join with all of Dr. B’s human and animal patients, thankful to be a part of her life and the many gifts she gave us.
Dr Bock was our vet and our neighbor. She excelled at both, always willing to share her knowledge and expertise. We send our thoughts to the Southwick family also…. yes, her wit and dedication to her craft shall be missed. Gods speed dear lady!
My heart just breaks at the tragic loss of Dr. Bock. I started going to Dr. Bock when she was practicing at The Humane Society of MO. When she moved to Central City south I followed her and enjoyed seeing Freddie there and she loved him so much! I know how proud she was when she built her office. I have had way too many pets to mention seen and treated by her at Southwick. She was the most dedicated, passionate, loving and committed veterinarian. No one will ever fill her shoes. She was a dear and dearly loved friend. I loved seeing her and envied her God given talent. My pets could never find better treatment!! Her staff are so remarkable and loved her so. My heart goes out to them as well as her husband and brother.
God bless you dearest veterinarian and friend. May He hold you gently in His arms and may you be assured that You will never be forgotten.

We are so saddened to learn of the passing of Dr. Bock. She has been our veterinarian for over 26 years and we continued to travel to South County long after we no longer lived in South County. Dr. Bock’s compassion and generosity were unmatched and we will miss her very much.

I was so saddened to here of Dr. Bock’s passing, it was such a shock. I have been going to her practically since she began her practice. She has been a wonderful friend and Vet. She has been my friend through the happiness and sadness of my many fur babies through the years. And helped me be strong when it was time to say good bye to them with her tenderness, caring and compassion. I will miss her.
