Services: Funeral from Kutis City Chapel, 2906 Gravois, Monday, November 15, 9:30 a.m. to St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church for 10 a.m. Mass. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Mr. Blankmann was a member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church since 1951 and a member of the American Legion and Carondelet Historical Society. He retired from Brown Shoe Company in 1986 after 27 years as a Project Engineer. He served in the American Air Force during World War II flying 35 combat missions over Japan from Saipan as a B29 Tail Gunner. He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross and Air Metal with Oak Clusters. Bob loved the outdoors and farmed in the Fredericktown, MO area since the 1960s. He sang in the St. Wenceslaus Church Choir for over 50 years and was a friend to many. Contributions to St. Wenceslaus Capital Fund for the Organ or Missionaries of the Holy Family greatly appreciated. Visitation Sunday, 3-8 p.m.
