Beutel, Catherine Frances, (nee Koerber) was born on September 21, 1921, in Brinktown, Missouri, to the late Elias and Mary Kersting Koerber. Catherine passed away peacefully on February 28, 2018, at Delmar Gardens Gravois Bluffs in Fenton, Missouri, and was fortified with the Sacraments of the Holy Mother Church.
Beloved wife of 55 years to the late Paul Theodore Beutel.
Loving mother of the late Henry (Ruth) Beutel; Mary Ann Beutel Girshner (late James Girshner); Norma Beutel (Jack) Schnable; Jerome (Jackie) Beutel; Paul (Connie) Beutel, Jr. Adored grandmother of the late Jacqueline and Timothy Beutel. Christina Beutel Cibulka, Sandra Beutel Page, Richard (Robin) Girshner, David (Monica) Girshner, Cynthia Girshner (Luy) Alty, Michael (Tammie) Schnable, Eric Schnable, Angela Beutel (Michael) Wheelehan, Jerome (Kitty) Beutel, Jr., Amy Beutel (Bob) Atchisson, Michael (Keri) Beutel. Beloved great grandmother of 17 and great great grandmother of 5. She is survived by her sister Anne (Arnold) Moreland of Holts Summit, MO. Our dear sister-in-law, aunt, great aunt and dear friend.
Catherine devoted her entire life to raising her family, raising a garden and working at St. Anthony’s Medical Center for 45 years before she retired. She immediately picked up her passion of quilting and made beautiful quilts as a hobby for many years. Catherine will be dearly missed by her family and her many, many friends.
Services: VISITATION: Sunday, March 4, 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road. FUNERAL: Monday, March 5, 9:15 a.m. from Kutis South County for 10:00 am mass at St. John’s Catholic Church in Imperial, Missouri INTERMENT: St. John’s Catholic Church Cemetery, Imperial, Missouri.
