Berutti, Paul A. Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church Thursday, May 26, 2016 at age 97.

Beloved husband of the late  Eleanor C. Berutti (nee Scheidegger).  Dear Son of the late Martin and Mary Berutti (nee: Riccono), Loving brother of Edith (the late Martin) Ricono and the late Jennie, DeLida, Lena, William and Chester Berutti;  our dearest uncle, great-uncle, great-great uncle, cousin and friend.

Paul graduated from Illinois State University in Normal, IL, and was an educator and principal in Wilsonville, IL.  He then served in the army during WWII as an Intelligence Officer in Italy where he was able to meet and spend time with his grandparents.  He then had a long and distinguished career with the Defense Mapping Agency of the U.S. Airforce where he was involved in the development of the Global Positioning System used in aerospace exploration.

Services:  Visitation at Our Lady of Providence Catholic Church (8866 Pardee Rd., 63123) on Tuesday, May 31 from 9 a.m. until funeral Mass time at 10 a.m.  Interment at Resurrection Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers contributions to Our Lady of Providence or Lutheran Sr. Services Hospice Program.  The family would like to thank the staff of Lutheran Sr. Services and the hospice nurses for their love and care. Kutis Affton Service
