Everyone loved to have Carolyn around. Always fun, good company and willing to do more than her share of everything. I have many happy memories of my sister-in-law. Some go back to the mid to late Fifties when we lived across the hall from each other in a four family flat on
Castleman. She and my husband Ralph, her brother, loved to play jokes, pranks, on each
other. Carolyn did get the last laugh when she put a zucchini under his pillow in his casket. Another story I love to tell is when she gave a surprise Birthday Party for her husband Bill, I think it was his 30th B-day. Everyone showed up except Bill. Our families had many good times together. The Club House days will live on forever. Thanks for the memories.
Rest in peace, my dear friend Carolyn. It was a joy to get to know you through our regular church visits over the last couple years. I miss your smile and your laugh, and the company of the dogs who would join us for prayers. Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and may the perpetual light shine upon her.
