A Most Cherished Mother and Treasured Friend Norma Jean Baker (née Bronsky), of St. Louis, Missouri, 86 years old, passed away peacefully from natural causes on May 10, 2023 at home.

She lives on in the hearts of her dedicated daughter Laura Baker, precious granddaughter Marie, and the nieces and nephews who loved their “Aunt Nornie.”

Norma became an accountant after graduating from Central H.S. where she met her late husband Ron Baker, firefighter and loving father. Above all, there was no mother, wife, sister, or daughter more devoted than Norma.

Behind closed doors Norma, made sacrifices for her family, was abundantly generous with time and money, and fought private battles with tenacity and bravery.

She loved to sing and dance, and we know without a doubt she is singing along with the angels as she is Welcomed Home by the husband, parents, siblings, and many relatives who preceded her in death, along with God, the  Creator of us all whose arms are flying wide open to receive such a treasured and unrepeatable soul

Funeral from KUTIS CITY CHAPEL 2906 Gravois Ave. 63118 Tuesday May 16 9:30 AM to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (Delor Street) for 10:00 AM Mass.  Interment Lakewood Park Cemetery.  Contributions to Shiners’ Hospital greatly appreciated.  Visitation Monday 4-8 PM
