Beloved husband for 39 years  of Mary Aufderheide (nee Wilson); loving stepfather of Catherine (the late Henry) Blamy, Carolyn (Joel) Marion, Mary Jane (Robert) Andrews, Earle (Kathleen) Hoyt and Linda (Mark) Pace; dear brother of Robert (Carol) Aufderheide; adoring grandfather and great-grandfather. Our dearest uncle, great-uncle and friend to many.

He was a Hospital Administrator of Lutheran Medical Center, Laclede Groves and Autumn Ridge Nursing Home.  He loved helping people and working with the elderly.

Fred graduated from Affton High School and the University of Missouri. He loved boating, wood working,  camping and dancing with his wife.

Visitation at Kutis Affton Chapel 10151 Gravois Rd. 63123 on Monday, May 16 from 4-7 pm. then at Glendale Lutheran Church (1365 N. Sappington Rd. 63122) on Tuesday, May 17 from 9:30 am. until funeral service time at 10:30 am. Entombment at Sunset Cemetery Mausoleum. The family would like to thank the staff at Friendship Village Sunset Hills for their wonderful care and love given to Fred. In lieu of flowers contributions to Glendale Lutheran Church or a charity of your choice appreciated.
