Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church Sunday, March 6, 2022, at the age 75, after battling bravely against amyloidosis with great courage and will for more than 8 years.

Beloved husband of Sharon Arno (nee Barth) for over 50 years; loving father of Joseph Arno; dear brother of the late Loretta (surviving Norman) Hoernschemeyer; dear brother-in-law of Patricia (James) Arno and the late George Barth; dear uncle of Daniel (Karen) Hoernschemeyer, Jimmy (Heather) Arno, Christopher (Taylor) Arno, Anne Marie (John) Robin and the late Robert (surviving Pam) Barth and Susanne Hoernschemeyer; dear great-uncle of Jacob, Kaitlyn and Avery Hoernschemeyer, Alex and Andrew Robin, Gigi and Stella Arno.  A wonderful family man, friend, neighbor and co-worker.  He will always be loved and missed by everyone who knew him.

An alumni of CBC’s class of 1963. He received a degree in marketing from SIUE before starting his career at the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, where he worked for more than 30 years in the advertising field to great success. He was a beloved husband and devoted father, and brought lots of fun into every life he touched.
