(nee Barisic) Baptized into the hope of Christ’s Resurrection, passed peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, June 5, 2022. She was 89 years old. Beloved wife of the late Paul Abendschein. Cherished mother of Patty (Jeff) Reed, the late Tom Abendschein, Ken Abendschein, and Kathy (Paul) Henke. Loving grandma of Emily (Jeff) Barnes, Missy (Andrew) Larson, Tim (Katie) Reed, and Matthew Henke. Dear GiGi of Ellie and Aubrey Larson, and Bee and Annie Barnes. Dear sister of the late Rosemary Barisic and Charlotte Bornholdt. Adored aunt (ever-lovin’ AA), sister-in-law, neighbor and friend to many.

Annie enjoyed traveling with family and friends, playing cards, reading, live theater, music, sunsets and her St. Louis Cardinals, but ultimately loved being with her precious family most of all. We will carry her in our hearts forever.
