Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church Tuesday, April 3, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Ernest Woodard for over 52 years; loving mother of Alan (Oralia) Woodard, Valerie (Don) Eastwood, Denise (Dave) Billo and the  late newborn Ronald Woodard; adoring grandmother of Angela (Eric) Eberhardt, Blake (Robin) Eastwood, Renee (Eli) Butcher and Stephen Billo; cherished great-grandmother of Adele, Evan, Elyse, Alice, Sullivan, Dimion, Kai and Gaius; dear sister of the late Raymond (surviving Mary Ann) Stratmann; our dearest aunt, great-aunt, cousin, Godmother, foster mother and friend to many. Jean graduated from St. Alphonsus Rock High School, St. Louis Community College and Webster University. She was employed as an R.N. for the City, State and Federal governments. She was a 20 year Volunteer Nurse at St.

Anthony’s Hospital. She was honored by St. Andrew’s Charities as an Ageless Remarkable St. Louisan in 2011. She gave a home and loving care to her many stray cats. Her motto was “Persistence pays.”

Services: Visitation at KUTIS AFFTON Chapel, 10151 Gravois, on Saturday, April 7 from 9 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m.

Interment at St. Paul Churchyard Cemetery. Contributions to Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital or Cat Network
