  Weisenhorn, Irene Louise passed away  Friday, November 6, 2015. 

  Irene was born December 3, 1921, the oldest daughter of Marie (Rotter) Wegener and Andrew Henry “Red” Wegener.  Irene is survived by her son David Weisenhorn, her daughter-in-law Nora Richardson Weisenhorn and her grand daughter Erin Marie Marrion Weisenhorn. 

  Irene is preceded in death by her beloved husband Charles Pershing Weisenhorn, her brothers Martin  Wegener, Jim Wegener and Andy  Wegener and her sisters Lenore Schwartzkopf, and Alice Iggens. 

  Irene lived her entire life in south St Louis.  She went to St Elizabeth’s Academy High School.  She enjoyed traveling in Europe and spending time at Ridge Creek farm with Charles.   She volunteered at Missouri Botanical Garden and Alexian Brothers.   She enjoyed visiting her son and family in Ferndale WA.  She inspired the people she met with her love of life, her fighting spirit, and her ability live life her way.

Services: Visitation will be from 9:00 to 10:00 AM at St Gabriel’s Church on Tuesday, November 17, 2015.  Funeral service will be at St Gabriel’s Church at 10:00 AM.  Interment at Jefferson Barracks Cemetery. KUTIS AFFTON  SERVICE.
